Festa al Cel Barcelona2-3 October 2010 |
| For the 19th time, the metropolitan city of Barcelona hosted Festa al Cel along its seafront on October 2 and 3 2010. This free airshow can easily be combined with a weekend in this marvellous city. And just because it's free doesn't mean its line-up is anything to sniff at and it usually attracts a healthy crowd of several hundreds of thousands to the beach. Make sure to play videos in high definition (720) and full screen for maximum effect. Festa al Cel 2010 proved to be an outstanding airshow with a varied programme and some rare participants, certainly outside of Spain, held at one of the world's must-visit cities. Acts varied from warbirds to high-performance aerobatics planes, from small sports planes to modern jets, from passenger aircraft to national aerobatic teams and just about everything inbetween, something for everyone, presented under a terrific autumn sun, a show to be savoured with a drink in a beach bar. The excellent hospitality for spotters and press was second to none, and suited the friendly atmosphere of the airshow very well.
